At Abhijay Travel, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed to ensure transparency and fairness for all travelers.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through our official contact page.
- Cancellation will be effective from the date we receive the request.
- Verbal cancellations will not be considered valid.
Refund Policy
- 50% of the advance amount will be refunded if cancellation is made 30 days prior to the travel date
- 25% of the advance amount will be refunded if cancellation is made between 15 to 30 days before travel
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of travel
- The token advance amount of ₹2100 per person is strictly non-refundable
- Kedarnath add-on bookings and special arrangements are non-refundable
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 7 working days after cancellation approval
- The refund will be credited via the same payment method used during booking
- Any bank or transaction charges may be deducted during the refund process
Non-Refundable Situations
No refund will be provided in the following cases:
- No-show or failure to join the tour
- Early departure from the trip
- Unused services (hotel, meals, transport, etc.)
- Cancellation due to personal reasons within restricted time frame
Force Majeure
Abhijay Travel is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by:
- Natural disasters (landslides, heavy rainfall, roadblocks)
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Political disturbances or strikes
In such cases, no refund will be provided, but we will assist in rescheduling where possible.
Amendments & Changes
- Any changes in booking dates or travel plans are subject to availability and additional charges
- Once the booking is confirmed, modifications may not always be possible
